For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow !!!
Charles Sheffey has generously provided Chapter 40 with a desperately needed sheet metal brake! We have been waiting to get one of these for a long time. A sheet metal brake will allow our members to fabricate simple-bend parts that are so common in many homebuilt aircraft. Chapter 40 wishes to sincerely thank Charles for his generosity and the time he put into this.

  1. I would like to donate a small quantity of metal materials found cleaning out my late father-in-law’s garage. Frank was a P-51 and P-38 pilot in WWII and worked at Lockheed for 43 years.

He collected materials from Lockheed salvage. There is aluminum and stainless rod and tube, some honeycomb sheet marked “Titanium” and some chunks of steel. the volume fills a 33 gallon plastic trash can about 1/3 full.

If the Chapter or any individual is interested in having this material at no charge, please contact me. I would be happy to deliver it to WHP.
